Global warming is the increase in temperature of the Earth due to the use of fossil fuels and other industrial processes that lead to a buildup of greenhouse gases (carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide and chlorofluorocarbons) in the atmosphere. Since 1896 it is known that carbon dioxide helps prevent infrared rays from escaping into space, which makes a relatively warm temperature on our planet (greenhouse effect) is maintained. However, the increased levels of carbon dioxide may cause an increase in global temperatures, which could cause major climate change with serious implications for agricultural productivity.

Humans have altered the environment by issuing 6 main gases known as greenhouse gases : carbon dioxide ( CO2) , methane (CH4 ) , nitrous oxide (N2O ) and chlorofluorocarbons ( CFCs). These gases rise into the atmosphere and cause the sun's energy trapped in the atmosphere warming the climate , melting the poles (which also reflect solar energy) and sea level rise causing global climate change : droughts , floods winds , frosts , heat waves etc .

This has led some scientists say that sea level will continue to rise even if emissions of CO2 and greenhouse gas ran out tomorrow
(which will not happen of course)
some solutions that can run are:

Make your voice heard , choose an efficient vehicle , synchronizes the engine of your car and keep the tires properly inflated , drive less , buy energy efficient appliances energy
change your light bulbs with compact fluorescent bulbs . among many other options

The chemical reaction of chlorine radicals Cl.
Ozone is in equilibrium in the ozone layer, forming and decomposed due to UV radiation. Chlorine radical (Cl) are catalysts through a chain reaction leading to the depletion of ozone. They are very efficient at descomopsición ozone, since they are not consumed in the reaction but is recycled and can return to action.
